Trace Adkins will once again host the American Country Awards.

This time around the singer will join NASCAR star Danica Patrick to oversee the ceremony.

Trace says he's looking forward to teaming up with Danica for the event.  He adds that he's eager to see if he has "what it takes to keep up with this racing superstar."  Trace will also perform on the show.

He'll sing "Little Drummer Boy," which is on his upcoming holiday album.

The American Country Awards honor the fans' favorite country artists, albums, songs, videos, and tours of the past year.  The two-hour ceremony will take place in Las Vegas, and air on Fox on December 10th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

This year marks Adkins' fourth consecutive turn at the helm of the ACAs.  He was the event's inaugural host in 2010.  Trace was paired with Kristin Chenoweth in 2011 and 2012.
