Miranda Lambert continues to demonstrate her support for shelter pets.

The country star spent her Sunday at home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, helping out with the local Dog Days of Summer adoption drive.

Miranda helped pair people up with pups, and posted photos on Twitter of some of the adoptees with their new families.  Some of the animals were named after country stars, including Brett Eldredge and Miranda's husband, Blake Shelton.

Lambert also shared the results of the day, tweeting that "over 40 shelter dogs from Tishomingo found a forever home" through the event, which is "somethin' to smile about!"  She added her thanks to everyone who turned out and "took home a new family member!!!!"
