Danielle Bradbery is promoting music education on the "Music In Our Schools" national bus tour. But the 17-year-old country singer admits she's a little apprehensive about Tuesday's stop at Cypress Ranch High School, where she attended before competing on "The Voice."
Danielle adds that being a teen herself means she can relate to the students. She says she hopes she'll be able to encourage them, and serve as living proof that dreams really can come true.
The bus tour honors March as National Music In Our Schools Month. The cross-country trek began Sunday in Anaheim, California, and made a stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Monday. Bradbery will also visit schools in Oklahoma City, the Nashville area, and Charlotte, North Carolina before coming to an end in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on Saturday.
